Count Me Out tour shirt from 2002 ,

Permanent is one of my top 5 favorite hardcore records ever , the lyrics are some of the most personal and heartfelt i have ever heard , this record no matter how much i listen to it still gets me excited and i am reminded of how awesome the years 2000 - 2003 was for hardcore , bands like this , AN , Panic , Sworn In ,Horror Show were bringing some new and exciting , how it was ok to talk about loss , people moving on , relationships , and it seems like alot of people nowadays have forgotten these bands i for one think we desperately need more bands like this today instead of the same ole tough guy generic non sense that is flooding hardcore today.

i actually got this from a good friend in little rock , i remember seeing Count Me Out in Birmingham in 2002 with Over My Dead Body , they had this shirt but only in XL but at the time i wore mediums and there was no way in hell i could wear an XL fast forward 8 years and XL is the way to go haha

here is hoping one day CMO will do a reunion and you can bet i will be there going completely bat shit crazy.

ok so i got these at Posi Numbers 2004 from Livewire , that was one crazy ass trip , we had a tire blowout outside of DC , had to get my car towed to some foreign car body shop , and we didnt have to pay a thing , the guy said we looked like we didnt have much money haha boy was he wrong

so its been a while , school started back and it is finally my last semester.

im not to sure what i want to do when i graduate , i want to go to grad school but right now im so sick and tired of school i could scream , but we will see ......

so this weekend Me , Kyle and Dom went to Little Rock to hang with Brooke and Jerry , Dustin joined us as well , awesome SDRE shirt by the way , i forgot to tell him. its always great getting to see friends and spending time with them outside of a show , we ate at an awesome resturant called lillys dim sum check it out here .... http://www.lillysdimsum.com/, it was great and very vegan friendly and the staff actually were helpful , then we went to the IMAX and saw Inception , it was mind meltingly good , Chris Nolan is truly an amazing filmmaker.

we spent saturday watching alot of Curb Your Enthusiam and Deadwood and playing with the doggies it was a good day indeed

kyle , dom , and jerry made pigs of themselves at five guys , i ate at moe's instead , five guys just doesnt cut it in the vegan dept.

we left little rock around 7 and came home .


Sunday

ate lunch with the family and then took mom and sis to see Inception , even better the second time , went over to moms and played with lucy and lola for a while , lola can walk better now since they have put down some carpets and runners on the hardwood floors , also had two packages waiting for me , my Vaccine shirt finally came in after over 2 months , it really takes all but 2 seconds to put a shirt in an envelope and go to the post office , people are just fucking lazy bottom line , and i finally got around to buyiing the Kill Your Idols boxset , yeah yeah i know , but i had heard way to many sketchy things about the label that put it out so thats why i didnt get it from them , but i did get it for less than $20 on ebay so i was happy,

i have clean sheets on my bed for tonight , that is seriously one of the best feelings in the world to get into

This Is Hardcore is gonna be fucking out of control this year , and i get to spend it with the crew

man what an incredible weekend , me, kyle and blake flew to cali for the REACT ! showcase , i can honestly say there was not a bad band on the entire show , everyone of them were incredible , saw alot of friends , this show felt like one big family , no bullshit , no fights

hardcore is alive in 2010

the end of march is gonna be nuts , united blood , mindsets rec release ,

then april 1 clenched fist and dead city ,

april 2 true colors mindset in STL ,

then the second week in april off to cali again for the REACT! showcase


stoked on getting to see True Colors 4 times on this tour

and seeing a bunch of friends i normally dont get to see often


im ready for summer

its been a while , school is still going my advisor said i can graduate in the summer we will see.....

its fucking cold outside , being out a few days for snow rules

hotel for UB is booked , tickets bought , van acquired

should be a blast
